KC Hardware Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KC Hardware website and store (the “Site”) and any purchase you make through the Site. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) About KC Hardware

KC Hardware provides products and services through this Site, including all related content, features, and tools (collectively, the “Services”). Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

2) Eligibility and Use of the Site

By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You agree not to use the Site for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

3) Product Information and Availability

We work hard to display accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However:

  • We do not guarantee that all product descriptions, images, colors, or specifications are perfectly accurate on every device.

  • Product availability is subject to change without notice.

  • We may limit quantities purchased per order, per person, or per address.

4) Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the Site and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including after an order is submitted.

By placing an order, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method for the total amount of your order, including shipping and applicable taxes.

5) Order Acceptance and Cancellations

We may refuse or cancel any order for reasons including (but not limited to) suspected fraud, inaccurate pricing, stock issues, or order verification concerns.

If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately. If the order has already shipped, it must follow the return process after delivery.

6) Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, incorrect addresses, or events outside our control.

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply to re-ship the order.

7) Returns and Refunds

Our standard return policy is:

  • 30-day return window

  • Items must be new, unused, and uninstalled

Return eligibility, instructions, and refund timing are governed by our Return & Refund Policy (posted on the Site). If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Return & Refund Policy, the Return & Refund Policy controls for returns and refunds.

8) Warranty and Disclaimer

Unless otherwise stated in writing, products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  • We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KC Hardware (including its owners, employees, and service providers) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased through the Site.

Our total liability for any claim related to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

10) User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, or other content, you agree that:

  • We may remove content we consider unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate.
